The Exports Activity Indicator (ISAE) stood at 25.9 points in the first quarter, which is the highest value since the same period in 2007 and more than seven points higher than the fourth quarter of last year, according to the Business Survey of Export prepared by the Ministry of Economy.

This increased value of ISAE was due to a more optimistic perception of exporting companies in the three references measured by this survey: backlog and expectations to three and twelve months, says the department of Luis de Guindos.
